Turn a product photo into a 15-second advertisement with RakuMovie, then import the finished MP4 into your media library.

== Description ==

RakuMovie connects one WooCommerce product or variation to one video order. Choose a photo, approve the connection in RakuMovie, send the product details, and place your order on the RakuMovie website. When the video is delivered, import it into your WordPress media library.

The plugin does not automatically publish videos on your storefront, change prices, sync inventory, export customers or create bulk orders. Use the standard WordPress Video block to place an imported video where you want. WordPress media URLs may be publicly accessible; you confirm before importing.

Supported video languages: Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai, Malay, Indonesian, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German and Spanish. Choose the language explicitly; your store's currency does not change RakuMovie's billing currency.

= External service and data transfer =

This plugin requires the RakuMovie video-production service at https://raku-movie.com. Activation alone sends no requests to RakuMovie.

After you explicitly connect, the plugin sends your shop origin, selected language and a hashed random connection secret. You approve a matching code on RakuMovie using its existing device authentication. After approval, pressing Send transfers the selected product's name, displayed price and currency, public URL when available, description and one JPEG, PNG or WebP photo (up to 25 MB). No customer records or other shop orders are sent.

The shop keeps an encrypted connection secret. It can read only this connection's status and download the finished video for its one order. It cannot read your other RakuMovie orders. The connection expires in 7 days. Unsubmitted photos expire after 24 hours. Disconnecting revokes access; it does not cancel an order or delete videos already imported into WordPress.

Free-trial eligibility and current paid options are shown on RakuMovie before you order. Installing, connecting or uploading a photo does not by itself place an order or charge you. Paid orders use RakuMovie's existing checkout. RakuMovie generates and delivers the video using its production and quality-checking service; production code is not downloaded or executed in WordPress.

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate WooCommerce, then this plugin.
2. Open WooCommerce > RakuMovie. Your site must use HTTPS. You need permission to manage WooCommerce, edit the selected product and upload media.
3. Choose RakuMovie beside a product in the WooCommerce product list, or enter a published simple product ID or a specific variation ID. Choose one locally stored product photo and the video language.
4. Review the transfer information, then connect. Open RakuMovie in a new tab and match the displayed shop URL and code before approving.
5. Return to WordPress, refresh, and send the selected photo and product details.
6. Return to RakuMovie, review the information and current terms, and place a free-trial or paid order.
7. After delivery, refresh this plugin's page and import the MP4. Add it to your store using a Video block if desired.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this plugin automatically place orders or charge me? =
No. You review terms and submit the order on RakuMovie. Paid orders require its checkout.

= Can I send every variation at once? =
No. Select one published simple product or one variation for each order. Drafts, private products and password-protected products are not supported.

= Why is my photo unavailable? =
The photo must be an editable attachment associated with the product (or its parent), stored locally in the WordPress uploads folder, and be JPEG, PNG or WebP under 25 MB. A remote image URL is not fetched by this plugin.

= What happens if the connection expires? =
Your order remains in RakuMovie history. Download it there; do not place a duplicate order merely to restore a connection.

= What happens when I disconnect or uninstall? =
Disconnecting revokes the connection and removes its local secret. Uninstalling erases local connection secrets. Server connections expire automatically. Imported videos and existing RakuMovie orders remain.

= Does importing a video make it public? =
WordPress media file URLs may be publicly accessible. The plugin warns before import and does not insert the video into product pages automatically.
